The Space: Welcome to “The Yellow Door” holiday home, where you can cruise at your own pace, taking long walks along the coastline or simply sitting with a glass of wine and a book from the large selection on our library shelf.
There is plenty for nature lovers or families to enjoy here, with a reserve playground and gorgeous Moana Beach at the end of the street, and Moana Sands Conservation Park just behind. Take a peaceful stroll along the beautiful Moana beach and you hit our favourite local Cafe in just 10 mins, serving up some of the best coffees and light meals in the area. Or if you're a big walker (or bike rider) there is the coast to vines trail that you can follow all the way to Mclaren Vale!
For the foodies and wine lovers, the house is a perfect base in which to indulge in the local wine and culinary delights that the gorgeous Mclaren Vale area has to offer, with the main street just an easy 10 minute drive from the house.
And when you’ve finished walking, exploring or wine tasting for the day, come home and cook up a storm in our fully-equipped kitchen, including an oven and stove, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee pod machine, cookbooks, staple pantry items and an array of cooking equipment for the avid home chef to play with. You can also make use of the small BBQ in the backyard during your stay, or the public one in the park at the end of the street.
Should you opt to eat out (you are relaxing after all!), there are plenty of fantastic local cafes, pubs and restaurants within a short drive, and we also provide recommendations with some of our local favourites.
The house features 3 bedrooms, with two comfortable Queen sized beds, and one bunk bed that is a double on the bottom with a single on top. Due to the double bed having the ladder on it’s side, we recommend that the double it is better suited for one guest only, or alternatively two small children. The main bathroom includes a shower, bath tub and laundry area with washing machine, with an additonal powder room oppositein the hallway. There is also a private ensuite off the main bedroom.
We supply all bed linens and 1 bath towel per guest. We also provide beach towels if you feel inclined to take a leisurely dip or a surf during your stay, which is highly recommended! And if you have always wanted to surf, but don’t know how, local surfing lessons are available right here on Moana Beach. We also have children's books and toys, as well as wifi, to help keep the kids entertained whilst inside the house.
Well behaved small to medium fur babies are welcome to tag along to The Yellow Door upon request. There is a fully enclosed yard here and we provide a dog bowl and bed to accommodate them comfortably. Please contact us first for approval (additional charge applies).

Guest Access: The entire home is all yours, excluding the lock up garage. There is room to park one car in the property driveway in front of the garage door, and plenty of free street parking available if you have multiple cars.

Other Things to Note: House trained pets are welcome by negotiation, and an additional $100 pet stay fee applies. Please discuss with us before making your booking.
Please ensure you list the correct amount of persons in your booking requests because this also ensures you get enough linen and towels included for each guest.
We provide starter supplies as well as pantry staples at the property, which includes a tea, coffee, milk, sugar, handsoap, laundry powder & toilet paper. Depending on your length of stay and usage, you may need to purchase additional items during your stay.
Please be aware that guests are responsible for putting bins out if they are staying at the property or checking-out on the morning of bin day, which is early Monday morning.
Cleaning the BBQ extensively of food debris and grease build up is not factored into our usual cleaning fee and will be considered an additional charge if no attempt has been made by guests to clean it down after each use. We provide cleaning products in the property for this purpose.
Being respectful of noise and neighbours is very important, as this is a quiet neighbourhood. A visitor or two to the house is fine providing they are not staying overnight unless they are a booked guest. There are strictly no parties or large gatherings allowed at the property.
Interaction with Guests: The property is conveniently and thoughtfully set up for a easy self check-in. This property is hosted by Hello Host management services. A Hello team member is available 24 hours a day via online message or email should guests have any queries or issues during their stay.
