Established in 1995, Fox Creek Wines is a family company situated in the centre of the lovely valley between McLaren Vale and Willunga. The vineyards are located in a picturesque undulating property with a natural creek, a large lake and many native river red gums and century old olive groves.
The Cellar Door is a nineteenth century stone cottage surrounded by beautiful cottage gardens and lawns where you are welcome to picnic or you may prefer to purchase one of the cheese platters available. The Cellar Door Gallery is also part of the Fleurieu Art Trail. At the other corner of the property is a state of the art winery with adjacent barrel and dry stock sheds and administration house. Behind the scenes winery tours are available free of charge on Monday and Friday mornings at 10.20am.
Fox Creek has a formidable reputation for the quality of its red wines and have won a number of industry trophies and medals for their Reserve Shiraz, Reserve Merlot, Short Row Shiraz, JSM Shiraz Cabernet Franc and Red Baron Shiraz wines.
