The retreat opens onto the courtyard, where guests have exclusive use of the entire back garden space. There are multiple seating areas thoughtfully placed throughout the garden, offering different outlooks to sit, read, journal, meditate, or simply enjoy the stillness. If you would like to enjoy the soothing sound of the water feature during your stay, just let Trish know and she will happily switch it on for you.
This space is ideal for solo travelers or couples seeking peace, privacy, and a more soulful stay rather than modern hotel-style accommodation. The space offers a retreat-style stay with natural timber features and a calm, earthy feel, designed for rest, reflection and time in nature.
It has a really comfortable queen sized bed, lived-in feel and reflects a rustic, character-filled aesthetic rather than luxury finishes. It is clean, well cared for, and intentionally simple, allowing guests to feel at ease and at home.
The retreat includes a private bathroom located just a few steps from the room, fully undercover and under the same roof. While separate from the bedroom, it is for your exclusive use and is clearly reflected in the pricing. This setup suits guests who appreciate value, space, and tranquility over motel-style layouts.
The retreat includes a simple, well-equipped kitchenette suited to light meals and relaxed stays. It features a Russell Hobbs benchtop oven with two hot plates, a microwave, bar fridge, pod coffee machine, kettle, and a selection of crockery, cutlery, plates, and cups. And your usual condiments + teas.
Please note the kitchenette sink has cold water only. Hot water can be easily accessed using the kettle as needed if you need to wash dishes.
There is a cosy indoor dining space for two, perfect for breakfast or a quiet meal, as well as an outdoor table and chairs just outside the room in the courtyard, ideal for enjoying meals or a morning coffee in the fresh coastal air.
As a holistic practitioner with over 20 years’ experience, Trish offers guests the unique option to enhance their stay with optional wellbeing treatments. These include Reiki massage, Reiki healing, sound healing, and meditation sessions, all designed to support deep relaxation and balance. The Esplanade and beach are just a short 3 minute walk away, perfect for swimming, beach walks, or simply enjoying the coastal air. Popular surfing beaches are close by, as well as trendy cafés, local eateries, wine shops, and essential amenities, again only 3 minute walk away. The Southern Vales wine region and Willunga Farmers Market are only a short 10 - 15 minute drive away, and Adelaide city is approximately 35–40 minutes by car.
