The original features of the property were retained, including plaster detailing on the ceilings and the original skirting boards. An open-plan kitchen, dining, living and outdoor area was constructed to the rear of the original dwelling, with a ceiling height that reflects the proportions of the original structure.

Take a drive up the South Eastern Freeway to visit Mount Lofty where you can see all the beautiful views over Adelaide, or continue on to Hahndorf to experience the historical "German Town" feel. A short walk would also see you experiencing the city fringe parklands and the heritage-listed Old Victoria Park race-track, or the local feel of the Dulwich Bakery and White Picket Cafe.
Getting Around: Close to public transport with buses in nearby Grant Ave and on Fullarton Road taking you into the City of Adelaide or to Burnside Village for some upmarket shopping. The city tram in King William Street will take you to North Terrace, the Festival Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre and onto Glenelg Beach for swimming and Jetty Road for shopping and restaurants.
