About this property
Our place is an English style retro villa adding a renovated groove to an 80s classic. Only four in the group with parking at your door, it’s a crisp clean palette of easy living, so you can explore The City of Churches.
Perfect for a young family or couples, this 2 bedroom abode is open plan with a sunny courtyard and all your creature comforts.
Our place is open and airy with a new sense of modern. Using modern classic elements of subway tiling and hybrid Oak floors, this idyllic hideaway is perfect for those who want to explore Adelaide and all its surrounds, those visiting family or those needing a self-contained space while working.
Accessed via a sweeping driveway, this peaceful retreat features a stylish open plan living and dining area with bay window letting in lovely natural light. The lounge has a 3-seater fabric sofa and and comfy armchair in front of the smart television; while a wicker dining table for 4 gives it back its 80s edge. The light filled kitchen appeals with its coffee pod station, stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, a supply of bottled water in the fridge and plenty of kitchen essentials to cook.
There are two spacious bedrooms – one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. The impeccable bathroom has an array of fine toiletries and a feeling of freshness. There’s a separate laundry with combo washer/dryer and a courtyard to hang your washing.
Smart lock for easy access.
One street from the buzz of Payneham Road with its choice of restaurants, essential shops and Marden Shopping Centre, you’ll love how you can immerse yourself into the local vibe and take on the community. For something a bit more ‘on trend’ head down to Norwood and experience ‘The Parade’ – an eclectic offering of fine dining, Hoyts Cinemas, cafes, good foo, burger joints and bakeries from 400 Gradi to Betty’s Burgers – there’s something for everyone.
Enjoy walks along the River Torrens, keep on track with your fitness at Goodlife Health Club at the top of Payneham Road. The perfect stay for those visiting parents at Gaynes Park Suites and Gaynes Park Manor on the next block, where you could take them to the Payneham Tavern for a pub meal. A nice find is the National Wine Centre or Wine Australia towards the city along Payneham Road, where you can get a wine education thanks to the University of Adelaide’s viticulture domain in Adelaide’s Botanic Gardens.
With so much on offer in Adelaide – you can catch the football, the cricket, the V8s, world-class performers and premier exhibitions.
Royston Park is 5.2kms north-west of the city. Catch the 178 bus on Payneham Road, and you’ll be in Rundle Mall in 9-minutes (bus leaves around every 10 minutes). It’s a 12-kilometre drive to the airport, or around 50-minutes via public transport (tram and bus).
There are taxis and Ubers for your convenience if you prefer not to use a car. For wine lovers, it’s a 30-minute drive into the Adelaide Hills for your favourite cellar doors.
The car port is tight to get into and is shared with the neighbouring unit. A larger car would not be able to get in and out. There is free street parking in the area.
The guest name and ID must match the credit card used for payment. If you are booking on someone else’s behalf, then we will require your ID in addition to the guests.
