It has not one, but 2x Work desk set ups! PLUS complimentary portacot, high chair, baby bath, kids books, toys, games & foosball table to keep everyone happy. Plenty of local cafes, restaurants & nature walking trails nearby. AND No stairs to worry about!

Athelstone is a beautiful, leafy suburb. If you love nature, but still want the convenience of being close enough to modern conveniences, this is the perfect area for you!
Very popular with local families. It is located approximately 10km North East of Adelaide CBD. And is close to so many places and things to do.
There are plenty of shops within a 5 minute drive and many choices for delicious food and coffee.
For a nature walk, Black Hill conservation park is only a 4 minute drive up the road. The famous Morialta Falls and huge, new nature playground is also only 8 mins away. Thorndon Park with it's big ovals, BBQ areas, large outdoor chess set, water reservoir, playground and birdlife including ducks, water hens and some times the occasional goose is only 4mins drive down the road.
Drive 20 minutes up Gorge road and you'll be completely surrounded by nature and many people-friendly animals at the Gorge Wildlife Park. The kids will love hand feeding and patting the animals!
The famous Barossa Valley is also only a 45 minute drive!
And if you fancy a visit to the beach, Semaphore Beach is only about half an hour away.
If you like golf, the local Lochiel Park Golf at Geoff Heath Par 3 course down the road is very convenient.
You will have the entire house, backyard and garage to enjoy, apart from the cleaner's cupboard in the back hall, which will be locked. Guest cleaning supplies are under the kitchen sink and in the laundry cupboards, which you're welcome to use.
There’s enough space to easily park 2 cars on the paving out the front of the house. There’s also a single garage with a roller door with remote control you can access.
For larger vehicles like caravans and boats, there is also free, untimed street parking nearby. All parking is at your own risk. So please ensure you have adequate insurance and take usual protective measures such as locking your vehicle and covering valuables etc.
The driveway up to the house is shared, so please ensure your vehicle(s) do not encroach or block the driveway. Thanks.

This is a spacious 3 bedroom family home with an open plan design and high ceilings so you won’t feel cramped. The home is big enough to comfortably accommodate 8 people. Be sure to enter the correct number of guests to ensure you get an accurate quote and the home is set up adequately for your stay.
You'll all get a seat at the dining table and space to sleep on a real bed. No blowing up air mattresses or sleeping in common areas here. So it's perfect for families travelling together looking for a rejuvenating getaway.
The home has modern, easy clean floating timber floors throughout. So it’s quick and easy to keep things clean and comfortable with the kids around.
There's plenty to keep your kids entertained: toys, colouring ins, puzzles, games, books and for the bigger kids, a wall mounted 50" 4k Smart TV, Playstation Classic (mini) plus unlimited fast Wifi. AND now we've added a foosball table for even more fun.
Have a nice, home cooked meal and relaxing night in cooking with the whole family.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences. Including a huge 900mm gas cooktop and under bench oven. There’s a full size fridge, microwave, and plenty of bench space. The kitchen island is complete with a double bowl sink and extendable hose tap.
There’s a 4 burner gas BBQ in the backyard. BBQ utensils provided.
*Please clean the BBQ after use as it's not included in the routine check out cleaning fee.
Cleaning up after your meal is a breeze with the dishwasher. No need to waste valuable down time doing the dishes by hand. It's like your very own home away from home. 😊
After dinner, if you feel like a nice stroll, the home is surrounded by leafy streets to explore. And there are not one, but two reserves with play equipment within walking distance. If you fancy some dessert, the supermarket and 24/7 OTR is only about 750m away.
All the queen beds have 5 star pillow top mattresses and comfy linen and pillows. The single bed in bedroom 3 also has a pillow top mattress. The single bed in bedroom 2 has a standard mattress for the little ones or those that prefer a slightly firmer mattress. A children’s safety bed rail is also provided for you to use with our compliments on this mattress. All bed, bath, and kitchen linen is provided and commercially cleaned in-between stays.
For year round comfort, there's a wall mounted reverse cycle air-conditioning unit in the open plan living area and one in the master bedroom (see photos for specific location). Bedrooms 2 & 3 have portable air-conditioners provided. You're welcome to use the air-conditioners as much as you need during your stay. So any time of year is a good time to visit.
A starter supply of basic consumables is provided. For further grocery supplies, a quick trip down to the local grocery store (Foodland at Athelstone is closest, or there’s Aldi a little further down the road) or shop online and have groceries delivered to your door from nearby Coles and Woolworths. Also check out the guest guide book provided for all the great local food places to visit.
Coffee, anyone? There's a Nespresso coffee pod machine you can use during your stay. So be sure to bring your favourite flavour of pods along. We’ve got a jar at the house to help get you started. There's also plenty of cafes nearby that do great coffee, so don't worry, your caffeine fix is never too far away! Some of the local cafes even do their own coffee blends in a Nespresso compatible pod so you can bring the cafe flavours home. Super handy when you feel like a cuppa in your pyjamas.
We know you'll appreciate the house and linen being thoroughly cleaned in-between each and every booking. It takes hours to properly prepare the home to a high standard. The cleaning fee ensures it can be done on a sustainable basis.
There’s a front load washing machine you’re welcome to use to freshen up your clothes and linen as needed. No need to bring your entire wardrobe to make it through your Adelaide stay! We even provide a starter supply of laundry liquid for your convenience. During warmer weather, there's a clothes line out the back where your clothes will dry so quick. In wet weather, there's a portable 3-tier clothes frame to dry your clothes inside in front of the air conditioner, so either way, your laundry needs are taken care of.
