You could visit any number of local wineries, boutique beer houses or Gin distilleries in the area and indulge at any of the local restaurants or cafes for all of your daily meals and come home to this romantic little residence.

Lay back on the super comfy bed, enjoy a glass or two of your new favourite beverages and chill to good movie.

In the early evening youre welcome to take a walk around the grounds and take in the lush lawns and listen to the birds or frogs that may be calling to each other in the winter creek at the rear of the property.

With a toaster, microwave and fridge, youd also be able to put together a basic breakfast before heading out for the next days adventure.

Perhaps bring your bikes along and for those that like to explore, nearby historic Willunga is home to an award-winning Farmers Market, held every Saturday morning, while its charming main street offers up an eclectic array of boutique stores, many housed in charming heritage-listed buildings and full of handmade arts and crafts. Also if youre here on a Saturday, pop in the Green Light Market at the end of Aldinga Road Willunga and hang with a more alternative crowd. You might like to get some handmade moccasins made, I did, or watch some local kids perform on the small stage with homemade Chia tea in hand.

Who says holidays can only be taken in the summer, I can only imagine sitting all warm on cozy, glass of local red in hand, watching a storm front roll in? Rugging up the next day when all is calm again, with thick jacket and scarf, taking a stroll along any number of local beaches. Yet another pleasure of winter.
