With plenty of amazing local walkways for the avid runner, walker or leisurely stroller to enjoy, whilst soaking up the scenic banks of the Patawalonga River, the picturesque white sandy beaches or the atmosphere of the Glenelg nightlife.
The Space: Calming with a youthful edge, this apartment is the perfect canvas in which to sit back and paint your perfect escape... even if that escape means staying in bed for half the day.
And it's easy to sleep in with our quality custom made king width queen bed and black block out blinds. The second bedroom equally has two cosy single beds, and block out blinds. (If you haven't noticed, we care alot about sleep quality!) When lying in bed with the blinds open, all windows view out over the quiet neighbouring tree filled garden below, the perfect spot to sit and play some guitar or sip on a hot cuppa!
When you do decide to climb out of bed, be it early or late, take an extra long rain shower with hot water that nevers runs out. Then take yourself for a leisurely stroll along the water to find the perfect cafe or outdoor activity... Swimming, sailing, scuba diving or Dolphin watching highly recommended!
By the river’s edge, you can watch the magnificent sun sets mirrored on the river like glass, and catch the occassional dolphin gliding by. As the blanket of night hits, you’ll notice the lights of the Marina Pier appear like stars.
The main street is just a short distance away, and getting around is easy with public transport right at the doorstep. Walk or uber with ease to the Glenelg nightlife.
The apartment features:
Kitchen features gas oven/cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, kettel, toaster, small breakfast bar and open plan into the cosy living space with floating floorboards throughout.

The Neighborhood: Glenelg is filled with all kinds of delicious eateries, sweeteries, shopperies and bar-hopperies, and they are all just a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the apartment. Established in 1836, Glenelg is the oldest European settlement on Mainland South Australia, and did you notice something interesting about the name GLENELG? That’s right, it’s a Palindrome, which means it’s the same back-to-front as it is front-to-back. There are over 300 local businesses to choose from along the kilometre long main street that is Jetty Road, and when you’ve shopped til you’ve dropped you can reward yourself with a fabulous coffee, a glass of wine or a meal in one of our many interesting cafés or restaurants, ranging from quirky and casual to formal dining.
Getting Around: Bus's, trams all easily accessible from the apartment. Don’t forget to experience a ride in one of Glenelg’s iconic trams, which take you from Jetty Road right through to the City to Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre.
Other Things to Note: Our building is an old girl built in the 70s (by our grandfather coincidentally). Whilst she isn't that pretty to look at from the outside, she definitely makes up for it in location and interior. You will forget all about it once you get inside. Please note the apartment is located on the first floor at the back of the building block and is accessible by stairs only (approximately 10 steps). The views are only out over the neighbouring gardens.
Please ensure you list the correct amount of persons in your booking requests because this also ensures you get enough linen included for each guest.
We provide a basic starter amenities pack which includes a small amount of tea, coffee, milk, shampoo, conditioner, soap & toilet paper. Depending on your length of stay and usage, you may need to purchase additional items during your stay.
