A classic white weatherboard — think Nantucket style — this eco-gem runs on solar power with rainwater tanks, filtered drinking water, and an organic food forest where you’re welcome to pick seasonal fruit and vegetables. Inside, cosy living spaces include an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge with leather sofas, a wood heater for winter nights, and a reading nook. Gather around the dining table for fresh local produce, board games, or long chats. For chilled evenings, enjoy Netflix and high-speed Wi-Fi. French doors open onto a large pergola overlooking the lush garden. Wander through veggie patches, lawns, and flower-lined paths alive with birdlife.
