You're in the Adelaide foothills, wineries, cafes and nature abound... if you can ever bring yourself to leave.

‘Bird’, designed bespoke on site, captures this stunning environment from every angle. Our goal was to experience the magical landscape from inside the building. From the living space you will feel comfort and luxury while being embraced by the mountains. Take an awe inspiring bath with windows swung open to experience the sky, trees and stars. And from the pillow of your bed you can stare into the valley below and watch koalas, birds and kangaroos.

‘Bird’ is one of a kind, inspired by our love of nature, art, beauty, luxury and peace. Architecturally we challenged ourself to create a feeling of vastness in a small space. There’s nothing small about Tiny! Melting Modern and Rustic, blending contemporary ideas with repurposed objects and materials to birth something truly unique.

The space:
‘Bird’ sleeps two people, with a Queen bed in the loft.
There is a ladder to be climbed to get into the bedroom, so agility will need to be considered when booking. The Bathroom is located on the floor below the bedroom.
Please note this is an eco waterless toilet. Biodegradable items only.

This space is no appropriate for children under twelve.

Fire pit onsite during certain months. Unfortunately due to regulations, this is not possible in summer months. Feel free to grab sticks etc. from our land below, or buy packs of wood at the local service station.

We provide bedding, linen, and towels, USB charger, fridge, fresh water for drinking, hot shower or bath, eco-friendly compost toilet, fan, heater, cutlery and plates, outdoor seating, and provisions (soap, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, coffee, selection of teas and herbs, sugar, matches, and oil). You only need to bring food and drinks.

A perfect private escape, without the long drive from the city. A memorable, luxurious getaway.

Tech, or no Tech, that is the question…
‘Bird’ has standard powered 240-volt power points.

Netflix and Spotify accounts accessible. There is a projector in the bedroom and google mini (voice activated speaker).

Mobile Reception
Reception can be patchy with some carriers. Telstra has the strongest coverage.
As we feel that you are here to un plug and unwind, we encourage you to disconnect, bury your phone in your bag so you can make the most of nature.

Parking
Parking for one vehicle only. Should you need another space, there is ample street parking available.

Pet policy
Unfortunately due to the sensitive environment, we cannot accommodate any animals here. We have many species vulnerable to dogs and cats, so please don’t ask.

Rules
Please note this property is for booking guests only. Extra guests are not permitted without permission. Strictly no parties.
Commercial or professional photo shoots of any kind, need to be discussed with us on an individual basis and are subject to different booking rates.

Security
For security reasons, we have cameras monitoring actions of those entering and exiting the property (top of the driveway). Once you walk down the steps, your back in your zone of seclusion.
