Pickers Hut is a much loved, Country Styled Featured, Dream Stay. Stay cozy with your loved ones by the wood fireplace or soak in the claw foot bath. Or, forage with private access to walnut, chestnut, and apple groves for our cherished guests to enjoy during most seasons.
With unbeatable private valley views and being proudly pet and family inclusive, Pickers Hut is one of South Australia's most incredible getaways on a working Angus cattle property, perched hillside above Sixth Creek.
The space
Two large Queen bedrooms sit either side of the central kitchen and lounge, providing relaxed comfort for up to 4 guests. Switch off technology and reconnect to the sounds of nature, or catch up on that book you have been meaning to read.
Guests can enjoy private scenic views with the convience of unlimited high speed wifi or relax in the deep claw footed bath with, opening windows to listen to rain or bird song, whilst staying warm with underfloor heating.
Relax in comfort on the deck with BBQ, fire pit and outdoor furniture for four people or gather around the cosy lounge room's slow combustion wood fireplace.
The kitchenette is equipped with mini fridge, hotplate and microwave, cooking utensils, tea and coffee facilities, fresh linen and towels.
With unbeatable private valley views and private access to walnut, chestnut, and apple groves, guests can enjoy foraging during most seasons.
Pickers Hut is pet friendly. We allow up to 2 dogs max at $40 each per stay. Please let us know if you plan on bringing your pup to stay.
Port-a-cot and high-chair are available on request at no extra cost for families.

When staying at Pickers Hut you are staying on a working Angus cattle property with operational rotational grazing paddocks.
You will have space to roam and forage for walnuts, apples, chestnuts and other wild produce.
Other things to note
Being a farm, our only request from treasured guests is the usual one. Just shut the gate!
